Partial Prosthesis
General description
A partial removable prosthesis at distal extension supported by devices produces additional tension on the pivots. This can be controlled through splinting and the use of elastic or non-blocking devices. It is questionable whether splinting more than two abutment teeth or those with severe loss of support to healthy adjoining abutment is advisable.
