The Barbados Fertility Center

This year the Joint Commission International (JCI), the US health facility accreditation program that sets health care industry standards, awarded the Gold Seal of Approval to Barbados Fertility Centre.

This seal of approval assures patients that the facility provides treatment that is among the the highest quality and safety in the world.  JCI conducts stringent tests to ensure that healthcare offered across the world is transparent and that patients can make an informed choice within a level playing field.

Barbados Fertility Centre was tested for patient pain assessment and management, the risk assessment prior to treatments and medical procedures, the storage and handling of hazardous materials, the regular inspection and maintenance of equipment, and the clear identification of job descriptions and medical staff credentials.

The accreditation process was considered by Barbados Fertility Centre to be essential in improving the quality of care given to their patients; and that by investing in new quality measurement systems and resources and staff training, they are providing the best treatment for continued high success rates in IVF cycles. These quality standards also ensure continuous improvement as they will be monitored and reaccredited.
