About Los Cabos, Mexico

For three hundred years, Spanish galleons laden with silks and spices would anchor in Los Cabos bays and take on fresh water and supplies on their return trips from the Far East. Pirates such as Sir Francis Drake would lie in wait for Rocks in the Oceanthem hidden in the many coves along the coastline. Hundreds of years later New England whale ships plied the coast nearly causing the extinction of the grey whale.

In the 50's & 60's, Los Cabos was where many Hollywood stars like John Wayne, Bing Crosby, Desi Arnez and others would arrive by private yacht or small plane to do serious big game fishing. Former President Eisenhower would visit the nearby East Cape for fishing and Dove hunting.

Today Los Cabos is still a place where one can catch marlin or see whales right off the beach in front of your hotel or golf green. It's the perfect choice for those desiring to get away from everything, except fun & comfort.
