Partial Dentures

A Partial Denture is a removable dental appliance supported by your natural teeth. It may be required where there are one or more missing teeth. Many options are available and often a partial denture is prescribed. A crown or bridge may be the preferred treatment and our Dentist will advise you on the best treatment for you.

Partials can be uni-lateral or bi-lateral. They can be made traditionally with metal base, or with acrylic teeth and metal wires. They newest procedure is the Val Plast or Teflon which has the quality of being elastic and adjustable without the involvement of any metal parts. These are more aesthetically pleasing and of benefit to patients who resist having metal in their mouths.
